Stay a Little Longer II is all about those little corners that make you want to sit down and stay a while. I love the wonky white flowers, oversized striped vase and that little blue chair tucked into the scene. With warm burgundy, soft greens and playful checks, it's a little imperfect, a little unexpected and full of charm.
This little painting is a smaller interpretation of my recent large-scale commission, Stay a Little Longer. I loved creating that piece so much, I wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to the idea!
